IMAGINATIVE JOURNEYS FAMILY WORKSHOP

Join Nothing is Impossible artist Rhona Byrne as she shares her recent research into amusement parks and roller coasters and how they came about. Participants will visit Rhona’s installation, Stop the World I Want to Get Off, made from actual sections of Kennywood’s historic ‘Racer.’ The group will take a slow walk through the neighborhood to consider how we experience the built environment and re- imagine and map out a roller coaster journey. Participants will then head back to the MF to create their own roller coaster model.
