René Francisco b. 1960, Cuban March without Perspective, 2004 PVC pipe 500 Sampsonia Way, fourth floor Francisco fills a large, brightly lit gallery with a framework of white interlocking PVC pipes. This skeletal structure, measuring eight feet high, twelve feet wide, and sixty feet long, is reminiscent of stadium bleachers — the sites of political rallies and festival celebrations Francisco attended as a child in Cuba.
