| Pedro Álvarez (b. Cuba 1967, d. U.S. 2004) was a painter whose works addressed social and racial issues in Cuba. Much of his work combined pop culture references, such as clippings from comic books, with traditional Euro- Cuban images, such as 19th century peasants and troubadours. His work has been exhibited internationally. | One from The Romantic Dollarscape Series (2003), One Hundred from The Romantic Dollarscape Series 2003), Ten from The Romantic Dollarscape Series (2003)
