Alejandro De La Fuente

Alejandro de la Fuente is UCIS Research Professor of History and Latin American Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. He is the author of A Nation for All: Race, Inequality and Politics in Twentieth-Century Cuba and of Havana and the Atlantic in the Sixteenth Century. His work on race and slavery has been published in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Italian.
