ART AND... is back with Artist in Residence artist, Laleh Mehran.

Join us for an artful evening with Laleh Mehran as she discusses her work and practice before being joined by Brian Siewiorek. Learn more about synthesis and storytelling – the underlying concepts of her installation, "The Interstitium," on view now at the Mattress Factory. Drinks and snacks with the artist will round out the evening.

This event is FREE for everyone, but registration is required. 

MF Members receive two complimentary drink tickets with registration. Drink tickets will be also available for purchase.

Laleh Mehran is an Iranian-American artist based in Denver, Colorado. Her work explores issues around dissent and exile, and often includes sophisticated electronic elements. Mehran received her MFA from Carnegie Mellon University in Electronic Time-Based Media, and is now a Professor in the Emergent Digital Practices program at the University of Denver. Her work has been shown individually and collaboratively around the U.S. and internationally.
