Her work has been exhibited at BravinLee Program, New York; Temple Contemporary, Philadelphia; Galleri Urbane, Dallas; Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, Colorado; Snug Harbor Cultural Center, New York; Automatic Gallery, Chicago; and the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Jenkins is Chair of the Department of Studio Arts at the University of Pittsburgh where she teaches installation, sculpture, art practice, and a summer field study intensive in rural Wyoming.
Delanie Jenkins' work is grounded in a collage aesthetic connected to the exploration of ideas through process. A prior career in architectural design cultivated a physical awareness in the constructed environment, which transformed later through art making into site-specific, installation, and performance works.
