FREE for MF Members // $5 for one child and one parent/caregiver
Museum Lobby @ 500 Sampsonia Way
Because of their height, children see things differently than adults. Inspired by MF Artist Sarah Oppenheimer, Mini-Factory artists will curate what their caregivers see using viewfinders, colored glasses and more!
Children ages 3 to 5 and their parents or caregivers are invited to explore, play + grow! Focused on a variety of themes and installations, participants can enjoy story time and work on a collaborative hands-on project. Mini-Factory is a mobile, adaptable pop-up space students can help to build and we use to explore new ideas and concepts. Registration required.
Mattress Factory education and community programs are made possible by generous donations from the Allegheny Regional Asset District, Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation, The Buhl Foundation, Jack Buncher Foundation, Shelia Fortune Foundation, The Grable Foundation, The Heinz Endowments, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and Snee-Reinhardt Charitable Foundation.
