ARTLab: Experiment with Polaroid

2008 Art Lab
Saturday, March 15, 2008
FREE with Museum Admission
Museum Lobby @ 500 Sampsonia Way

Use a Polaroid camera to capture images of yourself, your friends, or your surroundings. What alterations can you make while it develops? What about after? We'll have a variety of materials on hand to explore the unique process of this instant art form.

Twice a month, on the first and third Saturdays, visitors are invited to participate in a range of art-making activities that illuminate the creative process of in-residence artists. Projects and materials are developed to complement current and ongoing exhibitions. This program is free with museum admission and highly recommended for individuals or families with children of all ages.

Mattress Factory Education and Community progams are made possible by the generous support from the Allegheny Regional Assets District, Milton & Sally Avery Arts Foundation, Jack Buncher Foundation, Sheila Fortune Foundation, Grable Foundation, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and Surdna Foundation.
