Community Garden Party

The Mattress Factory celebrates its annual Community Garden Party! Neighbors of all ages are invited to enjoy a FREE day of fun performances + activities all tied in with the theme of the 2018 Urban Garden Party.

Inspired by William Anastasi's blindfold drawing, Mini artists will make art that encourages them to think big and use their whole bodies. This interactive learning program is designed for children ages 3-5. FREE for MF Members // $5 for one child + one caregiver. Registration is required.

Coffee Date with Tavia La Follette

Tavia La Follette, PhD, teaches in an innovative MFA program cultivating self-generative artists via interdisciplinary and process-oriented work. La Follette is also a director, designer, puppeteer, performer and the curator of Civil Rights and Civil Wrongs. MF Membes are invited to join Tavia for a morning coffee and conversation.

Bunker Projects Artist

Make with an emerging artist from Bunker Projects. During ARTLab, participants of all ages are invited to explore, play and experiment with projects inspired by current exhibitions, artists and ideas! This program is FREE with museum admission.
